In Grammar and Composition II class we are studying some manifestations of art in El Slavador, so I know something about this Salvadoran musical group called XOLOTL, and here is a little bit information about it.

For 32 years the group has provided Xolotl Salvadoran public the best of Latin American music.

Xolotl was born art school in the Salvadoran Christian Gnostic Movement on September 21 1977 and to date have almost 6 thousand presentations to various audiences in the country before, during and after armed conflict.

For his musical work have also been recognized by the Mayor of San Salvador for being within 100 most notable groups of the twentieth century for the dissemination and promotion of culture in the country and CNR Award 2005 in the branch of "Pop Art".
They have excellent songs, my favorite one is 'SOLO LE PIDO A DIOS'

Thank you Xochilt... Xolotl has persevered over all these years. It is amazing they have worked no matter the difficult circumstances we salvadoreans had to face: war, individual life projects, survival, disasters, etc. That is love!!!

Yes, it is. I read this group was born nearly to the Civil War we faced, but all problems did not give up it and continued playing so beautiful music.
